Important passenger notice
If there are any important notices you need to know, we will always do our best to let passengers know well in advance. You can find any disruptions to London Southend Airport services below.
Road closures near London Southend Airport between April 14 and May 3
Southend City Council has announced that three roads near London Southend Airport will be closed between April 14 and May 3, 2024 for essential tree maintenance.
The affected roads are:
- Manners Way – Closed from April 29 to May 3
- Hobleythick Lane – Closed on April 14, from the junction with Prince Avenue (the A127) and Carlton Avenue
- Ashurst Avenue – Closed from April 22 to 23 on both sides of the road, with a diversion via Roedean Gardens
These closures mean that there will be no parking, waiting, loading or general traffic on these roads during that week.
This is likely to cause some delays for motorists travelling to the airport due to increased traffic, so we encourage passengers to plan accordingly.
